In its third edition Marquee By The Sea let up the tradition of having a mix of established Irish acts and some exiting upcoming bands. Friday night saw Keywest take to the stage in what was a well received and exciting set. Supporting on the night was Winter Heart a two piece from Kildare. Saturday saw the return of The Riptide Movement following their great set the previous year.  They were supported by Galway band Rofi James how provided a great opening the the night.

After the success of its debut year Marquee By The Sea returned for 2017. We welcomed back Hermitage Green after their epic set the previous year. Saturday proved to be an all-Limerick event with Support from Nile St James and Hammy and the Pilgrim to ensure a great night of music. Sunday continued the great music with The Riptide Movement on their debut at Marquee By The Sea. The New social, a great up and coming Irish band provided the support on the night. The weekend was a great success with two sell out shows over the weekend. The music continued late into the night with the always excellent selection of Irish DJ’s  on  offer in Loop Nightclub

2016 was the inaugural year for Marquee By The Sea. Setting up a Marquee adjacent to Loop Nightclub in Kilkee, Co Clare. We hosted Limerick Band Hermitage Green on Saturday night with support from Uproot Hootenanny an American folk/bluegrass band. Sunday welcomed popular Galway buskers Galway Street Club to the festival for a lively set which we have come to expect from this band. Both nights also hosted top Irish club Djs in Loop nightclub to keep the party going once the bands had finished their sets. The first year proved to be a success and paved the way for the festival to continue in the following years
